Only takes about 3 hits per tree to down them. The other axes takes 5-7 swings before you can take down a tree and cutting down trees with them reduces the durability considerably.Alternatively a wood axe and some wood glue can get you 2 maintenance. wood glue also is amazing at repairing axes, don’t hoard resources.
