The texture is amazing! Crispy outside and soft mochi chewyness on the inside.We've had mochi donuts from SF Japantown, Berkeley, Oakland, Concord, Santa Clara, and even a small independent baker in Hercules, so we're no strangers to this dessert. Even at the end of the day (and next day) the donuts were soft and chewy.
