Hi all, We bought a 1086 this spring for 5500 dollars with a "bad" TA and clutch. Turns out the TA cable had just broken and needed a quick weld and TA works well now. However, there are still some issues we are trying to work out. I put a new clutch and TA into an 886 and cannot seem to get. it adjusted properly. Everything is working, TA feels very good. and all brakes and power steering are working. The problem. is that the oil light on the dash will not come on in the dash. unless the tractor is shut off and the tractor does not want to.It should come on when the clutch is pushed all the way down. Adjust the linkage so that when in High range, 3rd gear the light should go out before the tractor starts to move as you slowly let the clutch out. Now adjust the transmission brake.
