I think most agree, that the reason they go to a 2 into 1 system is for performance gains (pros).The HP & TQ gains can be measured on the dyno sheets displayed many times on this site.The proof is on the sheets.The cons would be the looks from the back of the bike,especially with the v-twins that have dual exhaust.Re: Best Slip on Exhaust for M8 Street Glide. Fullsac is the best choice in my opinion. He has three different size baffles, none so big like many slip-ons that kill low end torque. Sooooo... let's talk about the exhaust noise at startup. I've noticed it is kind of crazy loud the first 20-30 seconds after you start the car, then it "settles down" to a more normal idle sound.
