I have had 2 duramax trucks. A 2003 LB7 and my current truck, a 2008 LMM. I got the LB7 with 160k miles. Drove it for another 5 years and about 265k miles with a mild hyper tech 80 hp tune . Never had any mechanical issues with it. Parts I had to replace were things like all the hard to find coolant hoses buried on top and behind the engine.In reality it's a crap shoot pick one you've had good experience with.
