It is my understanding that the Gen 4 models without any backstrap installed has the same reach as the SF frames. I find that the 21 has a little heavier trigger pull than the 30, which may be a characteristic of this gun only. However, I find them both about equally accurate. I do most of my dryfiring with the 21 because of the heavier trigger pull.The 30s carries noticeably better IWB. The standard 30 will handle widely-available 45 ACP as-is, 45 Super with a barrel/RSA swap and 460 Rowland with the proper conversion. While not in the same class as the 460, the 10mm has plenty of thump.
