So after some investigating the harness, it seemed that the two sensors are connnected together, through some ground shielding.The attached photo shows the old sensor (bottom) and new (top). For my '06, the new part number is 23731-EA20D. The old sensor came out dry. Although it looks like there is an "O" ring groove, it is not.
